Little Wishes Big Dreams Gala

November 2012 - Sparkling Star inspired PauliPoP Display
For the past two years, we've donated PauliPoPs and Cupcakes to the Foster & Adoptive Care Coalition's Little Wishes Big Dreams Gala which has continued to be a huge success in the St. Louis area!

The Foster & Adoptive Care Coalition is a non-profit agency, founded in 1989 with the support of the United Way of Greater St. Louis.
The agency does two main things:
  1. Recruitment:  They are one of the area’s largest recruiter of foster/adoptive homes because of their partnerships with the local media, including KSDK and 13 local newspapers.
  2. Resource Center:  Foster and adoptive parenting is a rewarding—but demanding—job.  They offer many supports to parents, including support groups, training, advocacy, newsletters, two resale shops, crisis intervention services, and The Little Wishes program.
The Coalition consists of 30 member agencies, including the area’s most-respected public and private agencies. The staff is made up of foster/adoptive parents and child welfare professionals with a broad range of expertise. As a non-profit, 501(c)(3) agency, they are overseen by a Board of Directors. The board is made up of a variety of corporate and child welfare representatives, many of whom are foster/adoptive parents. They are committed to fiscal responsibility, and are proud to be recognized by the Better Business Bureau as an honor roll charity.  Also, as a member agency of the United Way of Greater St. Louis, they are required to meet rigorous financial and programmatic outcomes.
